Appointment cards

Yes — that is the point of the stock. The back is uncoated, so a ballpoint or a fine liner bites into the surface and dries rather than sitting on top of it. A laminated or gloss-coated card resists ink: it beads, smudges when the card goes in a pocket, and wipes off against a wallet. If you are writing dates, names or a punch count on the card, it has to be uncoated, and that is the one specification worth being fussy about.

250 cards are $79 including GST, printed double sided on 280gsm satin front with an uncoated back. That figure includes delivery Australia-wide. Rounded corners add $16.50 if you want them.

The back. Standard business cards are 350gsm matt, heavier and smoother, and they are the right card to hand someone when the card is doing the introducing. These are 280gsm with an uncoated reverse, made to be written on and handed back. Same trim, same presses, same proof. If nobody will ever write on the card, buy the business card; if somebody will, buy this one.

The same card, used differently — a punch card, a stamp card, a tenth-coffee-free card. The uncoated back takes a stamp as well as it takes a pen, which a laminated card does not: ink sits wet on laminate and prints itself onto whatever the card touches next. Design the back with the boxes on it and we print them; you fill them in as they come.

In multiples of 250, starting at 250. That is not an arbitrary minimum — cards are ganged up on a press sheet in 250s, so 347 is not a cheaper order or a dearer one, it is not an order any printer can run. Ordering a quantity between brackets never costs more than the bracket above it.

The clock starts when you approve the proof, not when you place the order, so a fast approval is a fast job. Printing runs at the nearest press we work with to the delivery address.
