An email when we have something worth sending: the file mistakes that cost people a reprint, what a job should actually cost, and the odd thing we have just started printing. Not weekly, not automated, and never a “just checking in”.

Your address sold, traded or handed to anyone else. A second list you did not join. Anything at all until you click the link in the confirmation email — asking here is not enough on its own, on purpose.
When there is something worth sending, which in practice is monthly at most and sometimes not for a couple of months. There is no schedule to fill, so there is no filler.
Every email carries an unsubscribe link at the bottom, and it works in one click with nothing to confirm and no reason to give. Your email client's own “unsubscribe” button works too. You come off immediately.
No. Placing an order, asking for a quote or emailing the desk never adds you here — the only way on is this form plus the confirmation click. Order emails, proofs and invoices are separate, and you keep getting those because they are about your job.
Then you will have received one confirmation email and nothing else, and doing nothing means it stops there — an unconfirmed address is never mailed again. That email names the time and the IP address it was requested from, so you can tell us if it looks like abuse.
Your email address, when you subscribed, from what IP address, and what browser you used. We keep that because the law that governs marketing email puts the burden on us to show you consented — which means keeping the record even after you leave. Nothing there is sold, traded or shared.
