Two things that get overlooked
A lease usually restricts what you can fix to the building, and building signage in NSW and QLD is frequently regulated by council on top of that. Both are worth checking before you order a fascia sign or anything illuminated — see council approval for what to ask and who to ask it of.

Can I make an opening hours sign for the shop door?

Do window decals damage the glass on removal?
No, properly applied vinyl decals remove cleanly. What can mark glass is a cheap adhesive left up for years in direct sun — ask if you expect it to stay up long-term versus be swapped seasonally.
Can in-store banners be reused for different promotions?
The cassette base is reusable — only the printed graphic needs replacing for a new promotion, which costs considerably less than a whole new banner.
