Print and signage you don’t need artwork for

Yes, you can order a professional sign without having artwork, without a designer, and without knowing what bleed is. On the products below you type the details — a company name, a phone number, a permit number, a web address — and the sign or sticker sets itself in front of you as you type. You see it before you pay, and you approve a proof before it prints.

That is the whole idea. A sign is not a work of art; it is a piece of information cut to a size that can be read from a distance. If you know what it has to say, you already have everything we need.

1. Type what it says. Only the fields that product needs, and the page tells you which are required by naming the next one on the button itself. No file, no upload, no format to worry about.

2. Watch it set itself. The preview redraws as you type, at the sign’s real proportions. Type a name too long for the board and it shrinks to fit rather than running off the edge — you are seeing the layout rules the print file will use, not a mock-up someone drew once.

3. Choose size, fixing and quantity. The price updates with every change, GST included. Delivery is included in the price. Your complete delivered price is confirmed before you pay.

4. Approve the proof. After you order we set the print file from the same details and send a link that opens on your phone with no login. Check every digit. Nothing goes to press until you say so, and if it comes back wrong against a proof you approved, that is on us.

The ordinary way to buy a printed sign is: decide you need one, discover the printer wants a press-ready PDF, find a designer or open a template you do not know how to edit, wait, export something, upload it, wait for someone to tell you the resolution is wrong, fix it, wait again. Most people give up somewhere around step three and buy something worse from a hardware shop.

Every one of those steps exists because the printer wanted a file. If the printer sets the file instead, the steps disappear — and so does most of what can go wrong, because the artwork is generated from your details by the same rules every time rather than assembled by hand under time pressure.

This works where the information is the design. It does not work where the design is the point. Business cards, brochures, flyers, pull-up banners, vehicle wraps and shopfront signage all carry a brand rather than a notice, and for those you either supply artwork or we make it.
