The printing is the thing we charge for: the wall planner as an A2 or A1 poster on 170gsm satin, five or more from $33.55 each, or the DL calendar on 300gsm, including GST.

Because New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria do not share a calendar. All three take the national days and Easter, but Queensland has Labour Day in May and the King’s Birthday in October, New South Wales has the King’s Birthday in June and Labour Day in October, and Victoria has Labour Day in March, the King’s Birthday in June and Melbourne Cup day in November. Brisbane has a show day the rest of Queensland does not. A single planner would either mark days that are not holidays where you live or leave out ones that are.

From the rules in each state’s public holidays legislation — the second Monday in June, the first Monday in October and so on — with Easter computed for the year and the additional days each state adds when Christmas Day or Boxing Day falls on a weekend. Every date on the planner is checked against the calendar when the file is built, so a date cannot be a day out. Check your own employer’s arrangements for anything local.

On the New South Wales and Victoria editions they are: every weekday outside the four terms is tinted, and the terms are listed under the holidays. Those are the first and last student days from the education department’s calendar, so school development days show as holidays, which from a family’s point of view they are. The Queensland department publishes its dates later; until it does, that edition marks the public holidays only. The download stays at the same link, so a bookmark keeps working. New South Wales uses the eastern division dates, which is nearly every school; Western Division schools in the far west start Term 1 a week later.
