Common questions
Is this a real order or a real proof?
Neither. It is a sample card for a made-up plumber, built to show how a proof works. Nothing you do here is sent to us, stored on this site or counted — close the page and it is gone.
Where is the typo?
On the back, in the list of services — a gas fitter who cannot spell “fitting”. It is small on purpose: the small print is where mistakes hide, and you can only find it by zooming in, which is what a proof is for.
What happens if I approve a proof with a typo in it?
It prints the way you approved it. If a delivered job does not match the proof you approved, that is on us and we remake it — but if it matches the proof, it is not, because the proof is the line. That is why we ask for two real minutes on it. How remakes work.
Do I need an account or an app to see a proof?
No. The proof is a link that opens in your phone’s browser. Zoom in, mark it up and answer, and nothing is installed.
Can I draw on a proof, or only drop pins?
On a real proof, both: you can pin a note on the exact spot and draw on it. This demo does pins and notes only.
What are the three answers?
Approve says it is right as it stands. Approve with changes says go ahead, with the changes you have marked. Ask for changes sends it back, and you see it again before anything prints. In every case, nothing goes to press until you have said yes, and you pay only after.
Is anything I type here stored or sent?
No. The page has no form that sends anywhere: your notes live in the page while it is open and disappear when you leave it.
