Print for a club run by volunteers, on a season that starts on a fixed date

A community club orders the same few things every year: banners for the sponsors who pay for the season, flags and a pull-up for registration day, shirts for the committee and the canteen. It is ordered by whoever is on the committee this year, usually in a hurry, often with a sponsor’s logo pulled off a website. That is the job we are set up for.

What most clubs order

Per season, and per sponsor

Three things worth knowing before the season

Work backwards from round one, not from the committee meeting. Banners, flags and shirts take a few working days each once the artwork is approved; the approval is what takes the time, because a sponsor banner needs the sponsor to sign it off. Collect the logos first, send them in one go, and the whole set comes back as one proof round.

A sponsor’s logo from their website is usually too small for a three-metre banner. A logo that looks sharp on a phone may be a few hundred pixels across. Ask the sponsor for the original file — a PDF, AI, EPS or SVG — or check what you have with the free resolution checker. If all you can get is the web version, artwork setup can often redraw a simple logo cleanly.

A fence at an open ground is a windy place. A solid PVC banner on an exposed fence behaves like a sail. Our standard sizes are PVC, which is right for a sheltered fence, a grandstand or a clubhouse wall; for a fully exposed fence ask for mesh, which is quoted. Mesh or PVC explains which survives where.

Common questions

Can each sponsor have their own banner in one order?

Yes. Send every sponsor’s artwork together and we proof them as one set, so the committee approves the lot in one go. Each banner is priced at its own size, at $74.50 a square metre: 2000 × 1000mm is $149, 3000 × 1000mm $223.50 and 4000 × 1000mm $298, including GST and delivery.

A sponsor changed mid-season. Do we reprint the lot?

No — each banner is its own line, so replacing one sponsor is a one-banner order at the same price as the rest. Keep the old banner’s size and the new one hangs from the same ties.

Can the order go to the ground rather than a committee member’s house?

Yes — give us the ground’s address and someone who will be there to take it in, and the delivery goes there.

Can the invoice be in the club’s name?

Yes — put the club’s name in the business field when you order, and the tax invoice, with GST shown, carries it. It comes after the proof is approved, and can be paid by bank transfer or by card.

We are a licensed club with a venue. Is this the right page?

For the sporting side, yes. Menus, what’s-on posters and table QR codes for the bistro and the bar are on the hospitality page.
