Why we built HSH Prints and Signages

Anyone can resell print. We built HSH Prints and Signages because the part that actually goes wrong — the artwork, the proof, the week of emails between them — is a software problem nobody in print had bothered to solve. So we solved it, in-house, and put an order desk, a design team and a network of established trade presses across New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria behind it. You deal with one place. The job runs at the nearest press we work with to where it is going.

The facts

Everything on one screen

Trading name
HSH Prints and Signages
Registration
HSH Prints and Signages is a registered Australian business name, ABN 59 723 663 362 — the ABN at the bottom of every page on this site, and the one on your invoice. It is public: ABN Lookup on that number lists the business name HSH PRINTS AND SIGNAGES, registered for GST.
What we do
Print and signage supplier: business cards, flyers, brochures, posters, stickers and decals, vinyl and pull-up banners, corflute and A-frame signs, shopfront signage, vehicle signage and promotional products — with an in-house design team for the artwork.
Service area
Made in New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria (NSW, QLD and VIC) and delivered Australia-wide, at the same price in every state; allow 1 to 2 working days longer outside NSW, QLD and VIC. Shopfront and vehicle signage is measured and fitted in New South Wales and Queensland only.
Production
Printed at established trade production sites on the east coast rather than our own factory, at the nearest press we work with to where the order is going. Bulky work runs in the state it is going to wherever we can, which is what keeps freight sensible.
Turnaround
Most products are made in 24 to 48 hours and delivered in 2 to 4 working days from payment. The ones that take longer are presentation folders (5-7 working days), coasters (6-7) and printed t-shirts (4-5), and their pages say so. If anything threatens that date we tell you before it does, not after. Your proof page carries a private tracker link that shows where the job is, live, with the due date on it. Branded merchandise is 2–3 weeks. Shopfront signage runs 3 to 5 weeks from quote acceptance, and council approval sits outside that.
Proof before press
Every order is proofed before it is printed. The proof opens on your phone with no login, you drop a pin on anything that is wrong, and nothing goes to press until you approve it — and you pay only after that.
Prices
Every price on this site includes GST, and everything you can order online includes delivery too — there is no freight line at the cart. Quoted work comes with delivery in the confirmed price. Nothing is charged until you have approved the proof.
Premises
An online order desk, with a site measure at your address for shopfront and vehicle signage. There is no public counter to visit.

Where print jobs actually go wrong

Not on the press

Presses are good now. A trade press in 2026 puts ink on stock more consistently than anyone needs to worry about. The jobs that arrive wrong, late or twice are almost never the press's doing. They die earlier, in the artwork: a file with no bleed that gets cropped, a logo pulled off a website at seventy-two dots per inch, a phone number wrong on the second line of a sign, a flat PDF proof that a busy person opened on a phone, could not read, and approved anyway.

The industry's answer to that has been people. Somebody at a desk rings you, you email a screenshot with an arrow drawn on it, they guess which line you meant, and a two-day job takes a week. We have sat on both sides of those emails. Our studio, HSH Design, has done artwork for print shops for years, and most of what it was paid to do was untangle exactly this.

So HSH Prints and Signages is not a print shop with a website in front of it. It is the software we wrote to remove that friction, with a print supply chain behind it. The order of those two things is the whole point.

Four pieces of software, all ours

Built in-house, not licensed

How pin-drop proofing saves the week

The step other print sites skip, and why ours is different

Nearly every online print service does one of two things. It shows you nothing before it runs, and you find out at the door. Or it emails a flat PDF, which is a picture you cannot talk to: you open it on your phone, it is too small to read properly, and the only way to say "the phone number is wrong" is a reply email that somebody then has to interpret.

A pin changes what a correction is. You touch the exact place on the artwork, the note attaches to that spot, and the person fixing it sees precisely which line, which digit, which edge. There is nothing to interpret and nothing to guess, so the fix comes back right the first time rather than the third. The proof opens where you already are, on the phone, with no account to create and no app to install, so the approval that starts the clock happens the same afternoon instead of when you are next at a desk.

You can answer a proof three ways: approve it, approve it with changes you have marked, or ask for changes and see it again. Nothing goes to press until you have said yes, and you pay only after you have.

If it comes back wrong against a proof you approved, that is on us and we remake it — see reprints and remakes. If it matches the proof and the proof had the typo in it, that one is not ours, which is the honest reason those two minutes with a pin are worth spending properly.

The desk, not the press

What we are, plainly

We are the order desk, the design team, the artwork check, the proof, and the accountability when something is wrong. We are not the press. Production happens at established trade printers on the east coast — which is what lets a small team supply three states without owning a factory, and what keeps the print itself at trade quality rather than whatever one machine in one shed can manage.

That arrangement is meant to be invisible to you, and this is the only part of it you need: you order from us, you approve a proof from us, and if anything needs fixing you talk to us, not to a factory you have never heard of. One phone number, one inbox, one desk that owes you an answer.

We say it out loud because plenty of print businesses work exactly this way and prefer you did not know. Knowing how a thing actually works is usually worth more than the story about it.

Why we print close to where it is going

A freight argument, not a patriotic one

Most online print shops run one factory and ship everywhere from it. That works fine for a box of business cards. It works badly for a corflute sign or a vinyl banner, because rigid board and rolled vinyl are bulky and light — couriers charge by volume rather than weight, and an interstate run can cost more than the signs on it.

So instead of one factory, we work with trade printers already established in New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria. Bulky work runs in the state it is going to wherever we can; a box of cards travels further, because it can. That is what keeps freight sensible and turnaround short, and it is the reason 2 to 4 working days, delivered, holds on bulky work at all.

It is also why the rest of the country takes a little longer. We deliver Australia-wide, at the same price in every state, but an order to Perth, Hobart or Darwin is couriered from the east coast, so allow 1 to 2 working days longer outside NSW, QLD and VIC. We would rather tell you that up front than promise a date the courier cannot keep.

What HSH Prints and Signages will say no to

Cheaper for both of us than finding out later

  • Fitting signage outside New South Wales and Queensland. We deliver Australia-wide, but we measure and install shopfront and vehicle signage in those two states only, because we will not quote a fit for a wall we cannot stand in front of.
  • An instant price on measured work. Shopfront and vehicle signage get a site measure rather than a configurator, because a number produced before anyone has seen the wall is a number that changes later.
  • Change of mind on custom print. Custom-printed goods carry no change-of-mind right under Australian Consumer Law, which is standard across the industry. Your guarantees for goods that are faulty or not as described are untouched, and the approval trail is what settles which of those applies.
  • Skipping the proof to save a day. We would rather lose the day.

Common questions

Do you print it yourselves?

No, and we do not claim to. Printing happens at established trade production sites in New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria, and large-format signage is produced in the state it is going to wherever we can. What is ours is everything in front of the press: the order desk, the design team, the artwork check, the proof and the tracker — and the software all of that runs on.

Where do you deliver?

Australia-wide, at the same price in every state; the far states take 1 to 2 working days longer outside NSW, QLD and VIC. Everything is made in New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria. Prices on the product pages include GST and delivery, and anything we quote comes with delivery in the confirmed price. Only signage we fit ourselves is limited to New South Wales and Queensland.

Who is HSH Prints and Signages, legally?

HSH Prints and Signages is a registered Australian business name, ABN 59 723 663 362. That ABN sits at the bottom of every page on this site and it is the one that appears on your invoice. You do not have to take our word for any of it — put the number into ABN Lookup, the government register, and it lists the business name HSH PRINTS AND SIGNAGES, registered for GST.

Can you design the artwork as well?

Yes. Our in-house design team does artwork for print all day, priced per job rather than per hour and quoted before we start. Setting up artwork you already have — Canva, AI, anything nearly right — is free with every print order. Say what you need on the order request and we quote the design and the print together. If you already have artwork, the free prepress tools will tell you whether it is print-ready before you send it.

What is the proof, exactly?

A link that opens on your phone with no login and no app. It shows the artwork exactly as it will print; you drop a pin on anything that is wrong and type what needs to change, or approve it. Nothing goes to press until you have approved it, and nothing is charged until you have. It runs on Proof System, which we built.

What happens if my print job arrives wrong?

If it does not match the proof you approved, we remake it — you do not pay twice and you do not argue about it. If it matches the proof and the proof had the mistake in it, that one is not ours, which is the honest reason those two minutes are worth spending. The detail is in reprints and remakes.

Do you have a shopfront I can visit?

No. HSH Prints and Signages is an online order desk with production at partner sites, so there is no counter to walk up to. Everything runs by phone on (02) 5302 3372, by email, and through the proof link. For shopfront and vehicle signage someone comes to you to measure. The rest of the questions people ring to ask — collection, payment, delivery, what happens if it arrives wrong.
