Send us the quote you have been given and we will look at it properly, then come back within four business hours with our own — and with what the two actually have in common. We are not promising to be cheaper. We are asking for the chance to be considered.
Print quotes are hard to compare, and often not by accident. Four things move between two quotes for what looks like the same job: whether freight is in the number, what the stock actually weighs, whether GST is included, and what day the turnaround is counted from. Any one of them can make a dearer quote the better deal.
We will tell you which of those yours turns on. That is worth having whether you order from us or not, and it is the part most printers will not do for you.
Three things, all of them checkable
Freight in or out. The real stock weight. GST in or out. The day the turnaround starts counting. We set the two quotes side by side on the same terms, in writing, so the comparison is yours to make rather than ours to claim.
Including GST and delivery, same as every other quote here. Not a verbal figure and not a text message that arrives days later. Most of it is already published, so you can check us before you send anything.
Sometimes the quote you are holding is a good one. We would rather tell you that once than win a job by leaving something out of our own number — and if we cannot produce it at that price, we will say what makes it hard to.
No, and anyone promising that has not seen the quote yet. What we promise is our own price within four business hours, GST and delivery included, plus a plain reading of what the other quote does and does not cover. On the jobs where we cannot do better we say so.
No. Cover it if you like — the specification is the part we need: product, quantity, size, stock, printed sides, finish, delivery state and the date you need it. We never publish, name or repeat another printer’s pricing, to you or to anyone else.
That is the most common thing we find, and it is the reason this page exists. A 250gsm business card quoted against a 350gsm one is not the same card, and a price without freight is not a delivered price. We set the two side by side on the same terms and let you decide which you are actually being offered.
Four business hours, Monday to Friday 9:00–17:00 AEST, the same as every other quote here. You get an automatic acknowledgment within minutes so you know it arrived, and a real person replies inside that window.
It goes to our order desk and nowhere else. We do not publish it, we do not name the printer who wrote it, and we do not pass it on. We do keep it, because seeing what real jobs are really priced at is how we keep our own prices honest — the privacy terms say so in writing.
None. No payment details, no account, and nothing is committed by sending it. If you order afterwards you still see a proof before anything prints and you still pay after you have approved it, exactly as on every other job here.
