The menu changes more often than the print does

A cafe's print needs move at the pace of the specials board, not the pace of a corporate reprint cycle. The useful thing is not a lower price — it is a reprint that lands before the seasonal menu is out of date.

What cafes and restaurants order most

Footpath, counter and takeaway

Two things that save a reorder headache

An A-frame with a laminated insert survives spills and a wipe-down; loose paper does not. A-frame panels are corflute rather than paper for exactly this reason — ask about a matt laminate finish on anything that sits at footpath height where a coffee gets knocked over it.

Keep the base menu design and swap only the specials. A reorder refills the configurator with the same options, so a seasonal menu update is a fast repeat order rather than starting from nothing — useful when a supplier changes and half the menu needs updating overnight.

Menus are a service here, not a print job

We hold the file and change what changed

A menu changes at the speed of a supplier, not a print run. A price moves, a dish comes off, a special becomes permanent. Most printers treat each of those as a new job needing new artwork. We hold your menu on file and change what changed: a price update is from $49, and free with a reprint of 500 or more — which is most reprints. You pay for the printing, not for the typing.

Any format, one house style. Flat A4 or A3, a folded DL for takeaway, a saddle-stitched booklet for a dining room menu that runs to pages — a new booklet menu is designed from $449. A venue with more than one outlet — the bistro, the coffee lounge, the function pack — is set up once so they read as one place rather than three suppliers’ templates, and each reprints on its own cycle without touching the others.

Artwork arrives however it arrives. A book menu re-typeset onto a takeaway DL, a menu somebody made with an image generator set again in real type so it stops carrying typos, a logo off the website. The whole menu range is priced here, and setting up artwork you supply is free with every print order.

Common questions

How much does menu printing cost?

Printing 500 flat A4 menus is $94.50 including GST, and that is the figure whether the menu is ours or a print-ready file of yours. If the menu needs work first, a price update is from $49 and free with a reprint of 500 or more; a new menu designed is from $349; a booklet menu from $449. Design runs two to five working days, then the print runs 2-4 working days from payment, delivered, with delivery in the price.

Do you print A3 menus?

Yes — flat A3 is the standard size for a wall or counter menu and for a menu board behind a bar, and it prints on the same stocks and laminates as A4. For anything at counter height that gets handled or wiped, a laminated finish outlasts uncoated stock considerably; which laminate is a two-minute read. Folded DL is the takeaway format, and a saddle-stitched booklet is the one for a dining room menu that runs to pages.

Can the specials board be reprinted same-week?

2-4 working days from payment, delivered, on a standard A-frame panel is typical — see a-frame signs for the full quantity ladder.

What stock survives a menu that gets handled a lot?

250gsm gloss or matt with a laminate finish outlasts uncoated 150gsm considerably for anything passed hand to hand. See laminate finishes for which one to pick.

Do you print allergen or dietary stickers?

Yes — the content and accuracy of allergen information is yours to specify and confirm; we print exactly what you supply.

Do you print coasters?

Yes — custom coasters, round or square, 95mm on beermat board printed on one side with your logo, and a QR code to the menu, the Wi-Fi details or your Google review page beside it if you want one. From $161.70 for 50, delivered, with a proof first.

Can I make an opening hours sign for the door?

Yes — the free opening hours sign maker turns your trading hours into an A4 or A3 sign with your logo, plus Closed today, Back soon and Christmas trading versions. Print it today, or send us the PDF and we print it as a vinyl sticker for the glass.

Can I make a QR code table card myself?

Yes — the free QR-code sign maker makes a table card, counter card or window poster for your menu, the Wi-Fi or your Google review page, to print today or send to us on heavier stock.
