The ute is doing marketing whether you plan it or not
A tradie's van sits outside a job site, at the hardware store, in a driveway, for hours at a time. Unbranded, it advertises nothing. Signed, it is the cheapest ongoing advertising a small trade business has — paid for once, working every day it is parked.
What tradies order
Vehicle first, everything else follows
Decals or a full wrap?
Most single-vehicle trades do not need a full wrap. Partial decals — door logos, a tailgate number, a stripe down the side — cost a fraction of a full wrap, go on faster, and are what most people actually notice: your name, your number, at a glance. See wrap or decals for the full cost and lifespan comparison.
A full wrap earns its cost on a vehicle that is the advertisement — a fleet, or a business where the van itself is the shopfront. If that is not the situation, decals do the job at a much lower entry price.
The drop that follows the job
The warmest lead you will ever get is the house next door
You just finished a job. The neighbours saw the van, maybe watched you work, and have their own version of whatever problem you just solved sitting in the back of their mind. A flyer through the street or two around that job — plumbers, electricians, pest control, garden care, cleaners, anyone who works one address at a time — reaches people who already have a reason to read it. That is a street-level job, not a suburb-level one: 100 to 300 homes is typical for two or three streets, well inside our smallest flyer run of 250, from $81.50.
Working a whole suburb rather than one job — a new business finding its first customers, or a seasonal push — is a different quantity. The letterbox drop calculator gives the real 2021 Census dwelling count for any suburb or postcode in NSW, QLD and VIC, and the flyer run that covers it.

Common questions
Do you install, or supply the decals only?
Vehicle signage is measured and installed by a crew in your own state — see vehicle signage to book a measure. It is not a supply-only, stick-it-on-yourself product.
Can I do one vehicle now and match the rest of the fleet later?
Yes — the artwork and colours are kept on file, so a second or third vehicle later matches the first exactly.
What if I only need something cheap and temporary?
Removable decals exist for exactly that — a leased vehicle, or a trial before committing to a full wrap. Ask when you book the measure.
How many flyers should I order for the street I just worked in?
Rarely more than 100 to 300 — two or three streets around the job, not the whole suburb. If you are trying to reach a whole suburb or postcode rather than one job's neighbours, the letterbox drop calculator gives the real Census dwelling count and the flyer quantity that covers it.
