Business cards

500 business cards cost $119 including GST, printed double sided on 350gsm and matt laminated on both sides. That figure includes delivery Australia-wide. There is no stock upgrade to choose here and nothing to decline: that figure is the finished card. Gloss lamination instead of matt is the same price; rounded corners add $16.50. Soft-touch stock, velvet lamination, foil and spot UV are on premium business cards.

The smallest business card order is 250 cards, at $79 including GST and delivery printed one side, or $89 printed both. Below that the setup cost swamps the printing and the per-card price stops making sense. Every bracket is cheaper per card than the one below it — $0.36 a card at 250 against $0.24 at 500 — which is why the configurator shows you the next bracket before you choose. You are never charged more for fewer: order a quantity between brackets and it costs whatever the next bracket up costs, never more.

90 × 55mm — the Australian standard, and the size these are trimmed to. Supply artwork at 96 × 61mm, which is 3mm of bleed on every side, or start from one of the templates on this page.

Business cards take 2-4 working days from payment, delivered. Need it sooner? Ask — a tighter date is quoted per job — talk to us or put the date on the order request. The clock starts when you approve the proof, not when you place the order, so a fast approval is a fast job. Printing runs at the nearest press we work with to the delivery address.

Business cards need 3mm of bleed on all four edges, so supply artwork at 96 × 61mm for a card that trims to 90 × 55mm. Keep text and logos at least 3mm inside the trim as well. A guillotine is accurate to about a millimetre, and missing bleed can usually be fixed by scaling artwork slightly — text sitting on the trim line cannot be fixed at all. Supply CMYK at 300dpi at final size, or run the file through the bleed and trim marks tool first.

350gsm is the standard business card weight and it is what these are, on every order — heavy enough to feel like a card rather than a slip of paper, and the weight most print buyers assume when nobody says otherwise. Every card here is laminated both sides, which sits on top of the stock, so it finishes slightly thicker and considerably more durable than bare 350gsm.
