Common questions
How much does a poster cost?
Posters start at five: an A2 on 170gsm satin is $33.55 each including GST, dropping to $23.65 each at ten or more. A1 adds $15.40 per poster and A0 adds $22. Delivery Australia-wide is included in that price.
Can I order just one poster?
Not here — posters start at 5, $167.75 for five A2s including GST. A single poster is the one job a local copy shop does better: it prints while you wait, and nothing has to be set up on a trade press or couriered. From five, that setup is shared across the run and delivery makes sense, which is where we come in.
How long does poster printing take?
Posters take 2-4 working days from payment, delivered. Need it sooner? Ask — a tighter date is quoted per job — talk to us or put the date on the order request. They print at the nearest press we work with to where they are going, which is what makes a next-week deadline a normal request.
What size are A2, A1 and A0 posters?
A2 is 420 × 594mm, A1 is 594 × 841mm and A0 is 841 × 1189mm. Each size up is double the area of the one below it. Allow 3mm of bleed on every edge whichever size you choose.
What resolution does a poster need?
150dpi at final size is enough for a poster, because a poster is read from half a metre or more rather than held in the hand. 300dpi is only worth the file size if people will inspect it closely. The resolution checker gives you the real number at the real size, in your browser.
Will a poster curl after it is unrolled?
Unlaminated poster stock relaxes flat within about a day of being unrolled. Lay it face down under something flat overnight and it will be ready to hang. If a poster has to live in a window or stay up for months, ask the desk about laminating it — that stops the curl entirely and makes the surface wipeable.
What happens if the job arrives wrong?
Tell the desk as soon as it lands, with a photo of what you received. If the fault is in the making, it is remade under the reprints policy; if it is in the artwork, we say so straight rather than reprinting the same mistake.
