Premium business cards

500 premium cards are $236.50 including GST — 450gsm uncoated with velvet lamination both sides, printed double sided, all of it in that figure. Delivery Australia-wide is in it too. Only the decorative finishes cost extra: spot UV $99, gold foil $154, silver the same.

Stock and finish, and nothing else — same 90 × 55mm trim, same presses, same proof. Standard cards are 350gsm matt with optional matt or gloss lamination: the right card for appointment reminders, loyalty cards and anything you hand out in volume. These are 450gsm uncoated with velvet lamination included, and they are the only ones that take gold or silver foil and spot UV. If the card is the first thing a client sees of your business, this is the one.

Premium business cards take 2-4 working days from payment, delivered. Need it sooner? Ask — a tighter date is quoted per job — talk to us or put the date on the order request. The clock starts when you approve the proof, not when you place the order, so a fast approval is a fast job. Printing runs at the nearest press we work with to the delivery address.

Premium business cards need 3mm of bleed on all four edges, so supply artwork at 96 × 61mm for a card that trims to 90 × 55mm. Keep text and logos at least 3mm inside the trim as well. A guillotine is accurate to about a millimetre, and missing bleed can usually be fixed by scaling artwork slightly — text sitting on the trim line cannot be fixed at all. Supply CMYK at 300dpi at final size, or run the file through the bleed and trim marks tool first.

Both need a separate mask on top of your artwork: a page the same size as the card, with the areas to be foiled or varnished filled in 100% black and everything else left white. Solid shapes and type hold well; hairlines under about 0.5pt and fine screens do not. Foil and spot UV cannot sit on top of each other in the same spot. If you are not sure, send the artwork without a mask and say what you want treated — we will mark it up on the proof before anything runs.

Australia-wide. Delivery is in the price, and the 2-4 working days includes it; allow 1 to 2 working days longer outside NSW, QLD and VIC. The price is the same in every state.

Tell the desk as soon as it lands, with a photo of what you received. If the fault is in the making, it is remade under the reprints policy; if it is in the artwork, we say so straight rather than reprinting the same mistake. When your print arrives wrong walks through what to photograph and what to expect.
