Texture beats adhesive
Vinyl bonds to what it can touch. On a heavily textured or non-slip tile it touches the high points only, edges lift within days and a lifted edge is a trip hazard. Smooth sealed floors are what this product is for.

A floor decal is printed vinyl with an anti-slip laminate over it, cut to shape and applied straight to the floor. It puts a message where people are already looking — down, while walking — which is why it works for directions, queue spacing, offers at the shelf edge and sponsor marks at an event. Priced per job because the floor decides everything: the same graphic on sealed concrete, on vinyl plank and on textured tile is three different products.
The slip rating is the part that matters and the part we will not guess at. It is confirmed in writing on your quote against the actual laminate, because a floor graphic in a space the public walks through is a duty-of-care item and not a decoration.
They are quoted per job rather than from a price list, because size, quantity and the floor itself all move the figure and floor graphics run much larger than a sticker. Send the sizes, how many you need and a photo of the surface, and you get a written price with GST included within 4 business hours.
Not when the right laminate is used, which is the entire reason floor vinyl is a separate product from ordinary sticker vinyl. The laminate carries a slip rating and we confirm the rating in writing on your quote rather than naming a class on a web page. If a supplier cannot evidence the rating, we will not sell you the job.
On a smooth sealed floor, yes. On heavily textured or non-slip tile, usually not for long, because the vinyl only touches the high points and the edges lift. Freshly sealed concrete needs weeks to cure first. Send a photo of the actual surface and we will tell you honestly, including when the answer is no.
Indoors on a sealed floor in normal retail traffic, months rather than years — they are a campaign item, not a permanent fitting. Heavy trolley traffic, an entrance that gets wet, or outdoor use all shorten that considerably. Order with a replacement in mind if the message needs to stay up.
On a properly sealed floor within its expected life, yes — they peel and leave no residue. Left down far past it, the adhesive hardens and you get a slow peel and a cleaning job. On an unsealed or damaged floor, removal can lift what was already loose.
Yes, printed and cut at the nearest of our presses in NSW, QLD and VIC and couriered to you, with delivery included in the quote; allow 1 to 2 working days longer outside NSW, QLD and VIC. Application is straightforward on a clean dry floor and most customers do it themselves; we say so rather than selling an install that is not needed.
In everyday use, yes: floor decals are the printed graphics people also call floor stickers or floor clings. Ours are printed on anti-slip laminated vinyl and cut to shape, and the right one depends on the floor surface, so tell us what the floor is made of when you ask for a quote.
Almost every floor-graphic failure is a surface problem, not a print problem
Vinyl bonds to what it can touch. On a heavily textured or non-slip tile it touches the high points only, edges lift within days and a lifted edge is a trip hazard. Smooth sealed floors are what this product is for.
Freshly sealed or polished concrete keeps releasing solvent for weeks and nothing sticks to it properly in that window. Ask the builder when it went down, and wait.
The floor has to be swept, washed, and then genuinely dry — not mopped ten minutes earlier. Residual cleaner is the second most common reason an edge curls.
A trolley wheel or a pallet jack turning on an edge will find it. Put graphics where feet go, not where wheels pivot, and use radius corners rather than sharp ones.
