Common vinyl lettering questions
How much does vinyl lettering cost?
From $76 including GST and delivery for one 10 × 10cm piece. A 20 × 20cm piece costs $82, and ten cost $262. The price is set by the size of the box the lettering fits in, not the number of letters.
What is cut vinyl lettering?
Each letter is cut from a solid sheet of coloured vinyl, and everything around it is weeded away. There is no clear or white background, so on glass or a painted wall it looks painted on.
How do I apply vinyl lettering?
Clean the surface and let it dry. Position the lettering with its application tape, press it down firmly from the middle out, then peel the tape back slowly at a low angle. The letters stay; the tape comes away.
Can you cut my logo?
Yes, if it works in one colour. Lines need to be at least 3mm thick to cut and stay stuck, so fine detail and tiny text may need simplifying; we say so on the proof. A vector file is best; vectorise a logo free if you only have an image.
Is vinyl lettering suitable for a car or a window?
Yes. It is rated for up to eight years outdoors and works on glass, painted metal and smooth walls. For a bespoke vehicle job or a whole shopfront, see car and ute decals and window decals, which we quote.
Can I remove it later?
Yes. Warm it with a hair dryer and peel it off slowly. On glass it comes away cleanly; on old paint test a corner first.
Which colours can I choose?
Matte black or matte white. White reads best on glass and dark surfaces; black on light walls and white vehicles.
How long does vinyl lettering take?
It takes 4-8 working days from payment, delivered, posted flat.

Once your artwork is in, we send a link that opens on your phone. Zoom in, drop a pin exactly where something is wrong, draw on it, and send it back. Nothing goes to press until you approve it. Try a sample proof — nothing is sent.
If it comes back wrong against an approved proof, that is on us. If it matches the proof you approved, it is not — which is why the proof is worth two minutes of your time.
