Make an opening hours sign for your shop door or window
Type your trading hours, add your logo, and download an opening hours sign as an A4 or A3 PDF — portrait for the counter, landscape for a door or window. There is a “Closed today”, a “Back soon” and a holiday trading version too, for the days the usual sign is wrong.

Common questions
What should an opening hours sign say?
The days and times you are open, in the order people read a week — Monday first — with closed days said plainly rather than left out, so nobody wonders whether you forgot Sunday. Group the days that share hours (“Mon – Fri 7am – 3pm”) and it reads at a glance from the footpath. Add a phone number or website at the bottom for the people who arrive when you are shut.
What size should a shop door hours sign be?
A4 is right for most shop doors and counters: read from a metre or two, with letters big enough for that. A3 suits a wide window or a sign read from the footpath. As a rule, a letter 25mm tall reads from about 7 metres — the sign size guide has the full table.
Can I get my opening hours printed as a vinyl sticker for the window?
Yes. Download the PDF here and send it with a quote request: we print it as an A4 or A3 full-colour vinyl sticker, or cut it as vinyl lettering for the glass, with your logo. A sticker can go on the inside of the glass, facing out, where the weather cannot reach it.
How do I show different hours for public holidays?
Choose Hours + holiday trading, add the days, and print it for the weeks around them — “Add Christmas and New Year” fills in the usual five. Or choose Holiday trading only for a separate sign that goes up beside your usual one.
Is there a closed sign or a back in 5 minutes sign?
Yes, both: Closed today with a line for when you open again, and Back soon, which says “Back at” the time you choose, or “Back in 15 minutes” if you leave it empty. The free sign library has more ready-made shop signs.
Is my logo uploaded anywhere?
No. The sign and the PDF are made in your browser, and nothing you type or add leaves your device unless you choose to send us the PDF for printing.
